The Tourist Tax Act of March 14, 2011 #23 gave power to the Municipalities to establish the Tourist Tax. The Tax will be applied gradually in proportion to the price, up to 5 per person per night. The Tourist Tax was established on August 24, 2011 by resolution of the City Council of Venice, 23-24 June 2011 #83. Casa Carlo Goldoni has the obligation to collect the Tourist Tax from its customers and to issue receipts.

All those who love this city and want to visit, can cooperate effectively to the preservation of the magnificence of Venice. Casa Carlo Goldoni will pay the municipal coffers after having collected the tax from their guests stay. The tax is only for the first 5 days of stay. Children less tha 10 years are exempt from paying. Young people between 10 and 16 years of age have a reduction of 50%.

The Tourist Tax for staying in Casa Carlo Goldoni is of
€ 2,50 per person per night high season
€ 1,25 per person per night low season.

The Venice's City Council has thus established the high season for the application of Tourist Tax.

  • 04 - 21 February;
  • 01 April - 31 October;
  • 03 - 09 December;
  • 23 - 31 December;
